First Alpe Adria Cup Race 2011

The first Alpe Adria Cup took place last weekend (10.-12.06.2011) in Croatia, Baska Voda. 70 riders from about 17 different nations excited the viewers, e.g. the freestyle show. With about 150 entries, the AAC set up new limits. For the first time in AAC history, more than 16 riders started in both runabout classes and as in the last years the stand-up-classes were well joined. Despite exciting duels to gain the victory and dangerous maneuvers, there were no injuries.

JetSkiZone PRO AM Freestyle

The Worldchampion Rok Florjancic (SLO) showed some backflip-combos and perfect no-hands barrel rolls – no doubt about that he deserved the first place. His brother Nac Florjancic (SLO) made it to the second place and the russian lady Anna Gonek finished third.

PRO Runabout G.P.

On his 255 HP strong SeaDoo, Anton Pankratov (EST) was able to finish both runs as first. Second was Nicolay Gorhibovsky (RUS), followed by the Slovak Mario Lamy. During the 16 minutes long runs the riders were challenged as much as their runabouts.

Wave PRO Ski G.P.

The 8-time world champion Kevin Reiterer (AUT) dominated this class just like last year. Although he had a bad start in the first race he could go to the top. Thomaz Kete (SLO) pursued the Austrian with his 200 HP Kawasaki – modified with a SeaDoo engine. Pija Sumer (SLO) improved a lot and got for third in GP for her first time.

Hot Products Ski Junior

In the junior class Saif Al Falasi from the United Arab Emirates won, followed by the 13 years old Tereza Prochazkova from the Czech Republic, who also won the Ladies class. Both fought very hard and left only a little chance for the third placed, Alex-Bendeguz D’Ess (HUN).

After a successful season start, the drivers and the AAC team are looking forward to the next race in
Maribor (Slovenia), 01.-03.07.2011.
